If they do, it's because CON rockband songs exist, therefore, the xbox will accept CON and LIVe rockband songs.

I don't care what the video says. that's a mod on a dev-kit. they wouldn't even mention it was supposidly done on a retail if it was not a mod.

It doesn't work because the xbox is expecting a LIVE file when it looks for the maps. Imagine you made a program that reads a file of a format that you made. You called the file this.myfile. then imagine someone replaced that file with a this.someotherfile. Would it work? No. The reason it works with themes and gamerpics is because you get themes and gamerpics as CONs and LIVEs. So the xbox looks for both (and possible PIRS as well).

Well, they cna shut down those sites and everything, and that's all very well. But thousands of people have a copy of this program. It's going to be very difficult for them to stop the spread and use of the CoD Tool. I personally don't like the CoD tool; I prefer using a hex editor

I thi9nk you misunderstand me... When you take a gamerpic-photo of your avatar, that gamerpic isn't on M$ servers in the first place, is it? Somehow, the xbox sends that pic there. we need to find out how to send some other image there, then we can haz custom gamerpics! But it probably won't work because the packets sent to M$ servers are most likely encrypted with RSA.

Or 'change how much XP you get for things'? Because if you mean 'edit your current XP', I doubt that's possible, since the xbox can't even write to the DVD, so your XP won't be stored on it anywhere

It is pretty easy to mod. The ease of making homebrew depends on how good you are at programming. You can use C/C++, or LUA (a crappy less-powerful language that was created with C/C++ ) So what do you say about the sub-forum for my PSP homebrew?

You can't do any AI mods on a normal Xbox at this current stage. you can, however, spawn the mini flood people. I don't think they chase you, though...
