the way i get around that is a phono 1-in to 2-out splitter. but if you're low on cash, you could always just plug your audio phono leads into the cap card and just do without it on the xbox while you game. for montages etc thats a decent way to work
most tv's dont have a tv out... i've owned 4 tv's in my life and only 1 did. wheras with the xbox, if you use the component HD cable, the non HD wires are still outputting at the same time so you can wire them up to your nonHD cap card, while playing on your HDTV
if you would be wanting to capture just from your xbox, i could do a tut for you when i get home next weeked. if you want to record just from a telly things get different...
downloaded and installed it (the guide in that thread was fine... dunno what those idiots were complaining about...) maybe i don't get it yet but i played for around 10 minutes and i have no idea what im supposed to do... i killed some sheep, a cow and a duck and got some random items i can cycle through with the number keys and throw with right click... i assume there's more too it but can some of you tell me what? im keen to learn
i can only load the game in firefox and then its some rubbish small framed thing... not worth it i gotta say. i wont for the full one until i know if i actually like it... but im not demoing a game in such a rubbish way
well theres 4 days left to collect votes... im essentially on 5 now but as i said im not going to do this if nobody's really interested. if its just a few people interested, they can ask me questions individually. im sticking to my 10+ rule
arguable. itl (as its name suggests) de-fragment the drive. the more its used the more files will become indiscriminately linked. with indexing and loads of other crap, your hard drive has A LOT of work to cope with. it will use some of the total read/writes the drive can handle, but only doing it twice a year... no issues as far as i see it. a second opinion might not hurt. ask someone with there own ssd... oh quiiiiiiiiiiiiiin haha
before installing anything onto it, make sure it is running the latest firmware possible. other than that, a good quality sata connection to the motherboard and bi-anual de-fragging should be fine. im sure there's more you can do... make sure you have TRIM running is important i think... no idea what it is, but apparently its handy
this is part of the reason i suggested it. perhaps if the website was more openly based on tech of any sort, not just halo if we're honest... more people would come. more people = more opinions and thats what used to make the site great. it could be again! im not suggesting posting a few guides will suddenly make everything ok. but its something...
