I bought some LEDs and im not really good on what resistor i should use. I have the specs of the leds below Technical Spec Source Material: InGaN Emitting Colour: Blue Emitting Wavelength (nm): 465-470 Size: 5mm Intensity (mcd): 6000-8000 Viewing Angle (deg): 20 Forward Voltage (mA): 3.0-3.2 Forward Current (V): 20-30 I want to connect them to the 5V source from the 360 HDD and I was just wondering what resistors i should use. Would and 82 Ohm be ok? or 100ohm or am I completely off?

Well here's my new one I have been working on. Done so far; 2 strips of led's (4 LED's on each strip) Talismoon Fans with 8 blue led's Full Clear Case including fan tunnel Clear dvd tray Blue Ring Of light mod (Very hard to solder ) 12v Fan mod Modded controller with LED's and switch Still to do Get some XCM Core V2 fans Add pulse mod add some switches Clear HDD case with leds I have used respectable power sources and did not steal the dvd drive's power =] Some pics (taken with phone, very crap quality)

Yeh dude just make one, Grab some old usb cables and just cut the dvd power cable and use the usb cable to extend the wires.

This has to be some sort of a mod, I think people would have found this allot earlier if it wasn't. But yeh, im still open minded.

Got bored the other night and bought this controller replacement case (available on eBay and other online auction sites). Some small soldering is required for the led's but nothing too hard. Have a look at the pics below It also comes with a swith to turn the led's on and off. They sell around ã20 or 33.05 U.S. dollars

Lol, calm down dude. It something fun to do and people with no knowledge can do this. You can simply do this manually by edit the save game with a HEX editor and then signing the file afterwards, its just easier/quicker to use this. Also keep in mind that there is no legal copyright on Gabe so it's not really stolen, its more like "I cant code so I copy past the code". It doesnt really matter, The program is there, use it if you want and dont use it if you dont want. Personally I could do this without the programs but tbh I dont really have allot of free time on my hand with my job and getting my own house isnt cheap so had a look on the web and found this, kept me entertained for about and hour playing the mods. Anyway, just be happy for the people who dont understand how HEX works.

Ok, alot of people already know how to make these mods however im releasing these for the people who dont. Please keep in mind that you "could" get banned on xbl for this but i doubt it. These are SP mods so they are only for fun, or getting easy achievments. I will post a tutorial how to do this when I have some time (again only for people who dont already know about this). Just hash and sign with your ID's and use Xport to navigate to your savegame on ur xbox HDD and backup the file on the HDD before replacing it. Once that's done just load up the game and resume the SP. Take it easy guys, Dev Kits are rare and there arenââ¬â¢t really dedicated websites for it. Rumoured that converting a retail xbox 360 to a 360 dev kit is possible however there wonââ¬â¢t be anyone that willingly help people to do it never mind finding someone who claim they know how. For the record, XDK stands for Xbox Development Kit. Have look in the section you posted this topic, some people are selling dev kits, if you have the money go for it just keep in mind that is is illegal to own one if you donââ¬â¢t have a licence. Hope this cleared some stuff up.

Just wondering, consoles used in supermarkets etc., are they demo kits? As if it is I could get hold of em cheap, my boss has connections with the boss of Tesco (supermarket in UK)
