The installer is a PC based application that just applies the patches for the mods into the the modified maps. Then you take all those modified maps and place them in the H2 structure folder (Like with the fonts, binks, maps, and default.xbe) Then you move all of that into an ISO with QUIX, or just FTP into your xbox if you have more than a stock HD in it.
Does mimesis download the files on the fly and un-zip them? I have all the mimesis packages in the mcp form, but I think you can drop them in their respective E:/TDATA folder and they will install. Most of those mods are in Killtrocity v1 and Killtrocity v2.
You can do it yourself Just get all the clean maps from http://xboxgamefiles.com Download my AIO, so you have all the programs: http://www.ibotmodz.net/forum/Xbox-Games-f162/Halo-2-f165/H2-Modding-Programs-f20/Halo-2-AIO-112-Unique-t12239.html Open each map one by one in Entity, go the battle_rifle [weap] tag and add damage_something to 12 instead of 3.
I wouldn't host from home, unless your trained. Random people from other countries just look for people like you to host their illegal files (after gaining an authorized entry) for a matter of minutes till your home internet crashes from soo many connections.
The site is slowly loosing members due to the lack of Xbox 360 and other "console" modding. Tomorrow at 7pm CST time, the forum will be offline for 15 minutes as I roll over the forum changes from my test site to this one. It helps separate the Xbox and Xbox 360 forums, so that members may find it easier to find Xbox 360 content. Also, lots more changes will occur that will be explained post-update. My surprise is for a dead cause, but I hope it brings a small portion of members back to it.
I know for a fact theres a lot of anime, maybe if you provide the image? Not many people are going to go look for one for you, and then make a sig from it. (Lockon might do it lol)
The not copyable is a simple javascript thing, one could just view the page source or disable javascript. I haven't found anything that actually works to stop copy n pasting.
Anytime it goes down. Right down the EXACT time and tell me your timezone in GMT, then I can look at that exact time in the access logs and find out whats causing it. Thanks
