First step: Try the monitor with a different PC, if it doesn't work, the monitor is dead Second Step: Try a different monitor with the computer that has an issue with the moniter, if the line is still there, the video card is dieing
I would love to have a Mac for school, but not for home. Just cause I find Windows funner to mess with, and at school I don't need to mess with anything I would buy one if they brought down their prices a bit. Perhaps a macbook air or w/e
I have never been able to hotswap successfully with an original Xbox,so can't recommend it. You need the eeprom, and without it, your ****** sideways, to put it simply. When the xbox boots up, it unlocks the HDD. If it is unlocked at the time of boot, it no workie I know its old, but a little extra knowledge never hurt anyone

Could be a lot of things, could be as simple as changing one thing in the bios, to it being completely ******. You never know with Dells $429, was what my laptop costed. 1.6ghz AMD Athlon, 2gb or DDR2, Same graphics as a laptop twice the cost, 15.4' screen. Pretty respectable for just over $400
Windows 7 is faster than XP for me. I've dual booted them to test @Peaches, my $400 eMachines notebook runs Win 7 real fast, as long as you don't have something big open, like Autodesk 3DS Max 2010 open.
First off, use spell check, it makes my eyes bleed less when I try to read the post. Second, the word "noob" is derogatory, and for this reason, should not be the first thing new members see. Third, we had a debate topic. Essentially there were more flames in that topic than at a pyromaniac's convention. 'nuff said
I just had a revalation. Make games, that make games Of course this will probably never happen, nor will it fit on any 1 disk. Maybe they could make themed ones. Have a kit for an FPS, a kit for a command & conquer type of game etc. But, like I said it probably will not happen
If there is one thing I have not figured out about the game industry, is the lack of customization on the users part. Halo 3's forge was a step in the right direction, but yet far to limiting. Far Cry 2's map editor was nice and all, but still missing that down and dirty lets change the way people play element. I mean, I don't want to play maps that are uniform and realistic, I want outragous maps, with crazy stuff going on. I want to be able to make weapons, at least change the paintjob on vehicles. I want to be able to flood a level, or make it as dry as a bone. These are just a few examples. And I want to do all this without modifying my console. Let the flames roll
