First step: Try the monitor with a different PC, if it doesn't work, the monitor is dead Second Step: Try a different monitor with the computer that has an issue with the moniter, if the line is still there, the video card is dieing

My brother's dell came with bloatware...

I have never been able to hotswap successfully with an original Xbox,so can't recommend it. You need the eeprom, and without it, your ****** sideways, to put it simply. When the xbox boots up, it unlocks the HDD. If it is unlocked at the time of boot, it no workie I know its old, but a little extra knowledge never hurt anyone

Could be a lot of things, could be as simple as changing one thing in the bios, to it being completely ******. You never know with Dells $429, was what my laptop costed. 1.6ghz AMD Athlon, 2gb or DDR2, Same graphics as a laptop twice the cost, 15.4' screen. Pretty respectable for just over $400

Windows 7 is faster than XP for me. I've dual booted them to test @Peaches, my $400 eMachines notebook runs Win 7 real fast, as long as you don't have something big open, like Autodesk 3DS Max 2010 open.

I just had a revalation. Make games, that make games Of course this will probably never happen, nor will it fit on any 1 disk. Maybe they could make themed ones. Have a kit for an FPS, a kit for a command & conquer type of game etc. But, like I said it probably will not happen
