Hello! I figured you won't be here to see my "Goodbye" post, so you might as well come back to see me welcoming you
-

Way to lower the sound coming from your PSP Yeah, nice tutorial. I'm sure if I wanted LED's that blinked every time a sound was played, I'd follow this tutorial
-
Looks cool, if you're into this sort of thing, which I am personally not Speaking of open source, are you gonna release the source or what?
-
Tell you what. you upload the gametype you want to be a forge gametype, and I'll mod it for you
-
a few points, and since I can't quote this many pieces of text, I'll just put them in speech marks... "They are fast, Rarely ever crash or freeze and a lot more..." ...and if you can change the RAM or put in a new graphics card, you're a genious! "...while PC has a crappy battery life." That's down to the actual hardware. Nothing to do with the windows operating system. "Also Macs protect against viruses 1000x better than they do on PC" Because you're so restricted to what you can/can't do, what files you can/can't read/write to, that you'd have to purpously give yourself a virus! Hackers and restrictions don't get along. "Microsoft Office is available for the Mac..." ...and for the PC. Among many other free variations NOT made by microsoft (openoffice being a popular one) "a Mac is 100 percent safe from viruses designed to attack PCs." And PCs are 100% safe from viruses that only harm macs too. Your point? "...the Mac is built on a solid UNIX foundation and designed with security in mind..." ...which is why it's not really mac anymore, because they realised that Unix was the way forward, took OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE and sold it as MAC! "The Mac web browser, Safari, alerts you whenever youââ¬â¢re downloading an application ââ¬â even if itââ¬â¢s disguised as a picture or movie file." Whereas on a PC, you can't discuise an aplication as a picture or movie file. I don't know what applications you've been downloading, mate And that is a function of Safari, the internet browser. That's not part of the operating system, just like Internet Explorer is not part of windows. Anyway, that's irrelivent. You'd just get Firefox anyway "And Apple continually makes free security updates available for Mac owners. You can even have them download automatically." Guess where they stole that from? I'll give you a hint. Have you ever heard of Windows Update? "A Mac has hundreds of drivers for peripherals preinstalled." Whereas on Windows, it doesn't fill up your hard drive with useless drivers for products you're not going to use in a million years! You want a driver? Use the driver CD that came with your device. Failing that, use Google! "And a Mac is smart enough to know what to do when you plug in your digital camera: It opens iPhoto and asks if you want to import your recent photos." Smart is not the word. The last thing I want when I plug in my USB stick that happens to have music on it, is for it to start playing the songs while I try and find that text document I wanted to append. "If you have a network at home or at work, whether wired or wireless, a Mac will fit right in." So does EVERY OTHER COMPUTER IN THE WORLD! "All new Mac computers are Wi-Fi capable. Available wireless networks automatically show up." And the last thing you want for your purpously-offline video-editing computer is for it to keep connecting to every damn wifi-point it finds. If you don't want wifi, why pay for it? "...Apple builds both the computer and the software that comes with it, theyââ¬â¢re literally made for each other." So do Palm. Have you ever heard of them? No? Didn't think so "And Mac OS X resists most viruses..." You mean people don't bother writing viruses for macs, because windows is a much more common operating system. "Every Mac comes with service and support thatââ¬â¢s consistently voted the best in the business." Voted by whom? I've never been asked. Have you? And I've fixed this part for you: Hackers, don't need to be reminded what to use (linux/unix). Twatty arty fancy "OOh, look at this! it looks nice, but serves no practicle purpose" people that can't use google, get macs. And for everyone else, there's Windows. XP. Not vista. "Macs protect against viruses 1000x better than they do on PC" my ass! If you're smart, you're fine. Security is easy. If you're an idiot and open up .exe attachmemts in your e-mails from the zimbabwein lottery, or your dead uncle who's riches you've just inherited, you don't deserve to own a computer!

It's quite simple, really... In the gametype, at offset 0x147 of the BLF image (after all the CON info and crap), there is an enum: enum Gametype { CTF = 1, Slayer = 2, Oddball = 3, KingoftheHill = 4, Forge = 5, VIP = 6, Juggernaut = 7, Territories = 8, Assault = 9, Infection = 10 } Simply change the current enum to 5 and it will be a forge gametype. Then obviously re-hash and re-sign.
-
What if they run it through sandboxie? Then it won't delete things! But if you were to overclock the CPU and disable the fans, like I suggested... Much more interesting And I'm not sure that the **** that decompiled it is going to use this version, since he has the source to the old one... but you never know
-
I'm pretty sure bumping a 5-month-old topic just to say "kool" is frowned upon in this current economic situation... But, who am I to judge. You have a pikmin in your avatar And yeah, there are a lot of lifts.

Go to Ebay Or, if you feel like buying a bigger HDD for your 360, most HDDs actually come with transfer cables. And if yours doesn't, all you need to do is phone up microsoft and ask for one
-
What's the surprise? Does it involve the deletion of certain mandatory operating system files? Or the intentional overclocking of the processors and disabling of all the fans to actually destroy the computer? That's always a good one And, just so you know, nothing is 'decompile proof'. If the computer can understand it, so can humans But only a devoted hacker (no, not script kiddie, a hacker) would be able to decompile something that's been thourughly obvuscated. And even at that, it would take some time. And even at that, it may not make much sense to most people.
-
I have strong suspicions that it was ELEMENT, since he decompiled it... Didn't you have any recovery questions or anything? You could create a new version of it, stop the old one from being able to log in and block ELEMENTAL from being able to log in to the new one. That's what I'd do.
-
I wanna know what gives ELEMENT the right to decompile other people's programs and post the code without the authors concent! That's assuming he decompiled it... Did you? And yes, it does look very much like a "report a bug" feature, since it actually tells you when the message is sent... No malicious software would tell you that it's just sent an email
-
I don't intend to upload a movie, because if anyone wants to see what it looks like, they can just play it. If you don't have a PSP, why do you want to know what it looks like? You could probably find a PSP emulator for the PC somewhere...
-
Yet another character graphics game by myself. Super Amazing Blocks of Fun! is basically a clone of tetris download it, play it and inform me of any bugs or possible improvements and I shall impliment them in Version 3. Source is included as always. Changes for Version 2: Now you can hold down the down button to make the pieces fall faster, a few minor bug fixes, and a surprise for those of you that can get to level 40... SABF.zip

I didn't... Mine was a rick roll

Why do you care? And the way I see it, it's not raisning his chances at all. His chances of winning are 1 in 2. He either will or won't. Nothing will change that
-
So you made the mod in that youtube video. But if you haven't 'figured out the security', how did you succeed in said mod? Or have you just not found all the security, but there is no security stopping you from making certain mods? Help us out here
-
Got any proof? And instead of just making replies to make yourself seem smarter, how about helping us out and sharing what you know? You seem to understand the security quite well. Tell us about that
-
those links are fake! This is teh real linkzors! ---> http://www.playfire.com/win-codmw2/313531353239 I got 5 out of 10 for purely guessing
-
Well, apart from the obvious "We don't know what most of this means", it is Do you feel like explaining a little more? Or will you just keep contridicting others without giving evidence to suggest otherwise?
-
What is this, some kind of japaneese dance music? I think I'll stick to Rush, Sabbath and Hawkwind
-
How can one person get away with 4 spam replies? How is that even possible? Of course this is legit. It's on microsoft's web site! And to answer the question you double-posted, if you had read the first post correctly, you would have noticed "(If I get accepted, I'll release the update)", which both myself and Dr Slipstream replied that you can get banned for doing.
