Tell me what the error is for X360 Gamehack, as for moving the files out. Thats quite self explanatory. Drag the default.xex out of the folder location of the Halo 3 Beta. Then use X360Gamehack and move it back.

I'm not uploading the modified XEX. You'll need a few tools to do this. wxPirs to open the CON file to get to the maps/XEXs H3Beta Unlock to manipulate the XEXs. X360 GameHack (which is xextool with a GUI) Make sure after you patch the XEX with H3Beta that you remove them from the ROOT directory. Then run X360 Gamehack, select retail and boom. Then re-move those files back in. wxPirs-1.1.rar

If you place the file in the root of your install (EX: HDD) it will act as the TU4 (Title Update 4), as long as you have the matching upgraded xex to go with it. However, I've tested and any modified default.xex works fine with it.

Modding gamerscore gets you reset or banned, quite stupid actually. The changing your gamertag is quite possibly even worse, since it takes one official to see your name or a couple of reports and your done.

Yep quite sad actually. 1 out of 5 games is a modded one, even though I'm not trying to join one. At least Bungie could fix this, I said goodbye to cod yesterday and now play Halo 3 again.
