Another reason for my bias is that my internet is slow, so downloading games is a pain via steam (which I find less... "reliable" than megaupload )

I feel as though Steam is beginning to gain a monopoly on the PC gaming market. I personally don't like this, because I don't really like steam (they've screwed me over a couple of times) What do you think?

Thats right! The news has been floating around for a while, but I figured I would re-post it here. Essentially, the company that ported TES IV to PS3 is porting Minecraft to 360 (presumably as an XBLA title). This is expected to happen around when the 1.7 (adventure) update is released. If you don't know what minecraft is, its probably the most addicting game since halo. I wonder how the server thing is gonna work? And if mods will be allowed...? Oh well, I think PC will still be the best platform to play it on, but we'll see

AHCI is the only way that OSX can read your hdds. From the looks of it, your having hard drive issues. Is the hard drive' partition table MBR or GPT? If all else fails, boot with the safe mode flag.

Also, Remove the blu ray drive, just to see what happens. Also, make sure that your computer is in ACHI mode (I'm assuming you knew that, but w/e)

I wouldn't think so, Sager isn't exactly new, if they think they can put that hardware in a laptop, they've probably done lots and lots of testing to ensure they don't pull a Microsoft.

The only time I like intel integrated is in laptops... and only because they are generally compatible with OSX
