Geohot should have won completely, but oh well.

Banned for thinking it was the sites fault, and not my horrible, horrible overcharging, monopoly-riding ISP

Yeah right, maybe in 10+ years Yeah right, maybe in 10+ years

Battlefield with mods? And on PC, because those ***** consoles can't handle that many players I concur.
-
Its so great to know we can count on you for the most bizarre news of the day, thank Slidell, you make my day.
-
in the chat, type /give *item id* *amount* (or !give, one of the two should work) ^That's only for multiplayer, for single player you need a mod (single player commands, I believe) to use it.
-
Overclocking is not hard, what is hard is getting a stable overclock.
-
No, its in the vanilla game, it allows you to give yourself items/blocks (making building easier)
-
The second motherboard you have listed, the MSI, is the same one another user (connorss) has. We have had some issues with it, mainly the "OC Genie" (automatic overclocking, not good, it makes the system unstable) I think that was the only real issue, and luckily it can be disabled. If he sees this then he can expand on what I've said.

They are two completely different things IMO

No, because they are the cheap no-name ones.

What was wrong with playing real chess?

It would be more like donate what you can, not a fixed amount per month. I just don't know if I can pay my bills with another monthly charge I enjoy the give command because I want to build stuff. Your server really isn't survival, because the zombies/creepers etc. don't come around often, unless you are in an unlit area. I like making exotic places, hence the request for the give command. (if I just wanted to make my castle bigger with cobblestone, I would mine it ) On a different note, I would definatly be able to help build a city (if you wanted to), but we should plan it out first, like what type of city? (Old style, modern?)

I have the hardware to build a dedicated server, but I simply don't have the internet to do so. I was looking at hosting, and unfortunately it is simply out of the question for me to pay by the month for one, its too much. The price I saw for a VPS was around $40 a month. However, that's ridiculous, so I wouldn't ever do that. I saw these prices at on the Minecraft forums: http://www.minecraftforum.net/images/smilies/chestfront.png 3 players - 128mb RAM : $2.95/mo. http://www.minecraftforum.net/images/smilies/cloth10blue.png 5 players - 256mb RAM: $7/mo. http://www.minecraftforum.net/images/smilies/cloth11indigo.png 10 players - 640MB RAM: $14/mo. http://www.minecraftforum.net/images/smilies/cloth12violet.png 15 players - 640MB RAM: $21/mo. ^If someone (or multiple someones) would be willing to split/help with the costs, I would manage it. If anyone is interested in splitting/helping with the costs, I will shop around for the best deal. I could also explore the option of regular web hosting, and setting one up on that (more work, but maybe worth it in the long run)

either one of those PSUs are good, but make sure that you don't go to low wattage wise. 375 is cutting it close, as Antec's PSU calculator is telling me about 303w will be used by the system (not counting capacitor ageing). I suspect it will be fine, but if you want to upgrade later on, you may have to replace the PSU. I personally have a 1000w, but I have 3 graphics cards and an assload of fans etc., and I run overclocked.

I was thinking about it, but the cost was simply too high

Home Sweet Home - Motley Crue and many others, that one just came to mind first

^That was the first thing I was going to post. -- Anyways, I think that the Case and RAM are great, however, I have some things that you may want to take into consideration. CPU: Phenom II's are great, however the one you have picked will have a locked multiplier, which means if you want to overclock, it will be considerably harder to do (and produce worse results) Motherboard: It has a 7xx chip in it, which are becoming outdated. However, they still run fine, but integrated graphics are something that I have always hated, due to them being both underpowered and prone to failure. My suggestion: buy a cheap dedicated graphics card PSU: I could literally take a dump in your computer, and it would be less harmful than that sketchy no-name PSU. Buy from a good name brand, some to consider are; Antec, OCZ and Corsair --- My recommendations: CPU: Same one you have now if you have no intention of overclocking, a black edition unlocked Phenom II if you do. Motherboard: Same one if you have no issues with the ageing chip, one with an 8xx chip if you want to be current. PSU: Stated above, look at some good name brands Graphics: Budget option: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187034R Best Media Option (for the money): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150449 (Currently out of stock, eta 05/02/20110 Please do not expect to be playing (newer) games on this system, as it will not be able to handle them well.

Banned for trying to one-up me.

I agree with this to a degree. However I believe that xboxs are budget options, more geared for younger audiences, familys and parties. PCs are for more for hardcore gamers who want the ultimate in performance, customization and control. PCs absolutely suck parties and such, because you don't have split screen etc. (exception being lan parties). I liked my xbox for casual gaming and playing with my friends, but otherwise I'm PC all the way. Also, a major plus for PCs: HARDLY ANY SCREAMING 7 YEAR OLDS!!!! Downside being price, with the cost of my cards alone, I could buy 3 or more xboxs.
