  1. TX Power is more important for boosting the signal.
  2. Greater range, better signal quality and the ability to handle multiple computers without any slowdowns seems pointless to you?
  3. Not exactly the way I would have done it, but I suppose it works.
  4. If it doesn't specify your router, don't use it. Your best bet would be to post on the DD-WRT forums about it.
  5. I run DD-WRT on my router (Linksys WRT300N), and it's features are far better than stock. Mine is also overclocked some, but truly I noticed very little heat difference. I'm not sure though what you're asking for help with? You don't know which firmware to choose? Or you failed to properly flash it and now it's bricked?
  6. You know how crazy MS is about people cheating for achievements.
  7. Would you take offense to me building a giant phallus in the middle of the map? ()
  8. You have to consider the achievement system. Many of the mods for Oblivion are cheat mods, I think its safe to say that the trend will continue. If people are cheating, then achievements would have to be disabled, and then re-enabled if the user got rid of said cheat mod. This would require an advanced system to detect exactly what a mod changes, and how. Either that or manual review of every mod, which is really, really impractical.
  9. I'm not going to delete that, because its just really F*ckin ironic that a spammer would post in this topic.
  10. Not going to happen.
  11. Yay finally a booster rail!!!!
  12. ahh, makes sense.
  13. AWWWWWW SHIT
  14. Naw, I already checked that, its fine :/
  15. meh too easy, like I said, only noobs do it that way
  16. honesty, at this point I don't even care.
  17. I used too... then I stopped being a noob
  18. Welcome
  19. As soon as TekSavvy is available, I'm going with them. However, until then...
  20. Thats one smart dog...
  21. I'm hoping that the other high speed companies are coming soon, they provide service to people a few mins down the road
  22. No wonder I was lagging hardcore in minecraft... http://www.speedtest.net/result/1255445541.png Notice it says slower than 98% of Canada. Thats because that 2% has dial up (yeah, and I have "high speed"). fml
  23. Yeah, you really do need a fan controller with these, unless you keep your PC in another room
  24. I check file integrity so I can avoid Korupt Data
  25. You may have seen my recent status saying that I bought 8 new fans. Well, they came a few days back and I figured I would do a quick write up for them, hopefully someone finds this post useful. Pros: These fans push 133.6 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute), which is a pretty respectable number for a 120mm fan. Even when slowed down by a fan controller to ~50%, they are more powerful than the stock fans in my case (Antec DF-85). Relatively cheap for such a powerful fan. Comes with its own screws and molex adapter. Cons: Its thick. Very thick for a 120mm fan, being 38mm. When they are on full, they are very, very loud. It was almost unbearable for me, and I have 2 GTX 480s (very loud cards when the fan ramps up). Because of their thickness, I had to do some DUI work to my case. Conclusion: The Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm fan is a very powerful fan, more than capable of keeping most high end systems cool. However, because of its noise, a fan controller is highly recommended (thank god I have one). The thickness is an issue in some computer cases, so make sure you measure to make sure you have enough room. Overall, they are great fans, but know what you are buying. I'll add some pictures later on. (Written by Quinn originally for ibotmodz.net, re-posting terms can be found on my profile page)
