What is there to understand? Joomla is a content management system that aims at providing articles in more of a archive fashion as opposed to a blog fashion. You need to understand that you might have the greatest HTML and CSS skills ever, but you don't need most for Joomla. Imagine Joomla as a base station, you go out and get a template, a few adds-on (called modules) and put them on your site. If you want to play around (and I think I already told you this) get Wamp Server >> http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php From there you'll be able to install Joomla and have a blast experimenting.

hey all, im just around the corner to reopening my site and hopefully affilating with peaches and im in need of some help... see, i have this changing image thing on my site, and sometimes i just need some text, but i want a backgorund behind it, and i'd like it be abstract. basically if you can make a abstract design 510x300 following this shade of green (#A2BA25) I'd be greatful... cheers

I kinda agree... I don't need a radio, a Youtube thing... if your going to call it the iBotmodz toolbar, why is there a radio, a youtube thing, a chat, and a pop-up blocker...? Maybe just an RSS feed for ibotmodz posts would be enough for me...

I'm here, I'm here... Its just ;m usually very busy to coming to iBotModz is becoming hard. Yes, I did pick up an iPhone 3G. And here's the deal: First off, the amount AT&T plays Apple is a classified number but my guess (over a 2 year period) is somewhere around $350, this is because even though the iPhone is cheaper, in the long run its going to cost you more money, so Apple is going to take the money of the original cost of the iPhone out... the $200 iPhone teaser was just so more people would buy then realize that they will pay more in the long run. For purchasing the iPhone: If your going to buy one and agree to a new 2 year plan its $199 for a 8GB Black iPhone. Or its $299 for a 16GB black or white iPhone. But be aware if you are still locked in to your current plan or you do not wish to have a contract, it'll cost you $499 or $599. This goes back to my original guess. If Apple doesn't get someone to buy service for 2 years they are going to just make them pay the money for the iPhone plus whatever AT&T would have paid them for the 2 year contract. Basically per month your going to pay $30 for unlimited data. Thats unlimited email, web, stocks, youtube, etc. But the minimum you can pay for a line is $40 for 450 minutes. So at a minimum you'll be paying about $70 for an iPhone. And thats with no texting! Its $5 a month for 200, $15 a month for 1500 or $20 for unlimited. So thats about $90 a month to have low minutes, unlimited data, and unlimited texting. Other minute plans include 900 minutes for $60 and 1350 minutes for $80 for unlimited for $100. But remember, you have to add $30 to all those for data and add the cost of texting to that as well. Its expensive to own, but if you got the money, I highly recommend it.

Thats brilliant! but can i ask one thing? after you say "Ace Of Tech" the first time, and after "aceoftech.com" wit the .com floating in, can you have it flash in kinda fast and say "For everything tech"

Thats nice but don't you notice how when it says "ace of tech" in the font "mamma gamma" its all pixelated and bulky like that? Besides that, I like it, interesting second font choice, but it works.

hey gfx beasts/ gods. I know i had melo do me a sweet forum logo for the ace of tech forums (my site) and it turned out pretty well. well recently me a peach have been taking and we have decided to affiliate. unfortunately, after many attempts to make a affilate button, i just couldn't! i tried everything, and stupid gimp was making my text look all pixelated, and i dont have photoshop, nor the skill so thats why i need the help! so if you want to make me an affiliate button that says "Ace Of Tech .com" with that in the font called "Mamma Gamma" (its free, google it) then have it flash by and say "for everything tech" in any, suitable, font you wish. i don't have many color or picture options so i origianlly just planned to have it say "Ace Of Tech .com" each flashing in about 100milliseconds after each other, then have it kinds blur away, then say "for everything tech" also fading in after each other, and with the word "Tech" bolded. now if you want to throw in a photo or some color, it has to be highly legible, and if its an image, please please please have it relate to technology, and i had a hard time finding a flat out photo of "technology." anyway, help would be greatly appreciated. -dark master

well, personally i hate to see any site ofline due to hacking so i got in contact with the "authorities" in my area and they said they added it to there "watch list" which is probably good to be on as it should make hackers a little more scared about what there going to do and if its worth it to have the fbi show up at your door. nice job getting it back up peach

Hey guys, I am writing an article on my site regarding Halo 3 modding, and I decided to interview some of the users at only the best modding site ever. So below I have 7 questions, please answer as few or as many as you would like. The more the better. If I can get a good number of replies by tonight, I can get the article up in a few days. What are your views on Halo 3 modding? What exactly does this "Con Resigner" do to help modders mod Halo 3? What other tools are required in order to mod Halo 3? Could you briefly describe the steps it takes in order to mod a Halo 3 map? Do you think it was the right decision for the "Con Resigner" to get released to the public? Do you think that Bungie will be able to stop modders dead in there tracks from modding Halo 3? For modders, what do you think is the next step to modding Halo 3? its possible to hack your zune, with the games as he said, plus the "use it as a hard drive" hack. im working on my own hack right now to get rockbox. see, you know how when you put games on it through XNA? What if you made a program then put a virus on it to wipe, then install a new OS onto the zune, you now? you would run your dumb little app, then the virus would take over, kill the zune, put the new OS on it, then be done. thats what im working on right now, but no real progress, its hard!

nice box you got there but for me the price seems high... the ONLY games ive ever played on my xbox was halo 2 and splinter cell, so if i can get a normal, used xbox at my local gamestop for $40 or from a friend for possibly $30, then just use the games i already have. i mean, if someone wants the games, its a good deal, but if you don't it seems high. also, put it on ebay, you'll get bids, and there it probably some idiot out there that things a clear xbox is worth like $500
