Well just rename it like you would a folder.

1. Just google the image decoder you want (eg. jpeg decoder) 2. Download it and just put it in the director where photoshop is and it should work.

Moved and you probable just have crap internet, I mean it is satellite. Do you have the correct settings on your computer? I know that sometimes if I fiddle with my router settings it disconnects like what your talking about.
