The only possible reason is that his first post was a quick reply box that didn't trigger the system. Then his new topic triggered it, then he never posted back cause it worked. He got what he wanted and left forever.

It is amazingly fast, but the pros end there. The design sucks, and the sound for some reason seems more annoying than ever. The popup menus are now like square non-rounded white corners. I guess they didn't like the dark blue rounded corners approach.

The download took forever, but I'm giving it a shot now. Well. I think it sucks. It looks like a 1st grader console now. Too many childish things incorporated into the design.

Well, I cannot vouch for this guy. He is not anyone I know, so he probably could of made some coding mistakes in the XEX that would cause memory leakage.

If they were multi-platformed that would decrease the amount of features and prevent the engine from being redone between games. Notice how similar the code and structure of all the cod games are? It looks like every new game is just a massive patch file on top of another.

All but 3 games are patched anyway. Unless your playing offline or on system link. It won't help that much. It should be fixed now. Minor error on my part.

Yeah, but already after playing for a few weeks I can't go into a single game without them because the game feels like its a snail's pace. Also, most the forge pieces are just generally bigger than before. Usually in Halo 3 you would run out of the large boxes and have to use tiny blocks, but in Reach every object is huge with the exception of some tiny blocks. I think I'd remove Jet-pack and evade if I make my next map, because both the abilities just open up maps in ways you wouldn't imagine. Especially if you time the jump right after evading. Its like a superjump.
