Yes, that evox-dash is a recovery program built in to fix your dash. You must have deleted the backup which loads upon clicking A. So I'm completely understanding, if you were to pop in Halo 2, it doesn't even load the game? It just goes to that menu. If you can't boot any discs, or get any dash to load. Your down to 2 options. 1. Hopefully that evox-dash error message, opens up the FTP connection so you can try random numbers that your xbox had before in hopes to connect and re-setup the C drive. 2. You will have to take apart your xbox, plug your xbox harddrive into computer using nifty programs and put that xbox harddrive back to normal.

Yeah sure. Okay. Go to CMD (Command Prompt) and type in ipconfig Random numbers associated with words will pop up. Look for the one that says "Default Gateway" Then memorize that number. If the IP is 192.168.1.0 or anything with a 0 at the end. Then that means it is set on Static You want it to be on DHCP To do this, open up settings on your xbox. And find "Config IP" Directly above that is Static, click that and change to DHCP, then scroll down to bottom of list by holding L then click save. And restart your box, then use that IP to connect via FTP

Putting Map files directly onto a disc, will cause error due to the map checksum and what not. If you need to move them directly use a RAR program, then transfer them. Otherwise you need to use Quix to make the mappack into an .ISO file which then you can burn that to DvD. Also, do you have a DvD player? Most people think they do, but they actually don't.

No disc in drive, turn on xbox. 2. Turn on xbox with game 3. Turn on xbox with DVD (Yes, it makes difference) 4. Turn on xbox with modded disc of any sort 5. Start xbox, by ejecting disc. Tell me what happens, so we can decide weather to use HDM 1.9 or Slayers, or ADI. Sorry for reply being late, been out. Not many other mods feel like helping
