Update: 8 hours till knocked offline. I might start an hour or two earlier depending if I'm up.

A linux based server thats 64 bit has capabilities to hold a larger mySQL dB. Once you hit around 4gb on a windows it starts deleting random records in order to fit in that current query.

Video tutorials don't help that much, since theres 100 different versions of everything Halo 2 related. Lots of pictures and clean descriptions are better.

Guess a technique works for everyone. I prefer ndivia plugins with photoshop and Entity. I know others use DXTBmp and dothalo, Its just all personal preference. Glad you got it.

The LOD removes HUD and other film things I thought. The classic wrong looking skin at distances sounds like you re-injected in the wrong format that it was in. Theres like 6 different formats ranging from DXT1 to DXT5.

You can only have as many as the ITMC tags allows. You can start by removing all weapons spawned on the map (including grenades and vehicles and powerups) then continue to use glitchys chunk cloner to make more bridges.

I think comparing our little apps to large scale open source things is a completely different debate. I don't download sources to firefox and learn it, cause I don't have any desire to. However when someone does something sweat involving Halo 3 or something I like reading the source so I know it for the future.
