Lets start with positive: Text is blended into the background fairly well, and I see that you blended the character in a bit too. --- What could be improved: The text is not really sig text, if your looking for new fonts google em up. The gloomy background doesn't really fit the smiling character Can't say I like the outer glow, but that's a matter of preference
Did # 1, no difference On the second one, we both have the latest CCC drivers The fan is nice and loud, I turned it up to 100% There is also another fan blowing on it. tbh, I think its the CPU's 4th core
I'm getting a lot of the classic signs of overheating, but, really, my temps aren't super high. I also have a friend with the same card that goes to higher temps than mine, and is stable. And, this only happens some days. -- Anyways, after about an hour or two of playing Borderlands or Battlefield: Bad Company 2 they CTD and thats when shit hits the fan. Funny colours, shit jumping around the screen. I managed to grab a screen of Chrome when it was doing this. I also took a screen of my temps after playing Borderlands for 30 mins straight. You'd think that this would be a constant thing. Also, it doesn't matter where I am in the game (either one). Any ideas? Driver issues? This PC eats up Bioshock II, S.T.A.K.E.R. and other games with no problems. --- This is the list of games that have ever done this to me: L4D 1 Bioshock II (resolved, it was an issue with the configs) Borderlands BFBC2 GTA SA The games can be both new and old, so the overheating makes no sense right? I mean you wouldn't expect GTA SA to overheat a modern system. Hell my brother can even play that game, and his PC is a god damn dinosaur.
I tried png, but the shit came out all blurry. just realized, in some apps the quality is great (PS/FW/Quicktime) but in others its terrible (when set as a bg, in win photo viewer etc)
This is just me trying to get used to CS4, poor old CS3 is gettin old so I figured I might as well switch sooner than later. Anyways, I can't say I'm too impressed with the image resizing on CS4, so thats why this next one is NOT 1920x1080. Lots of cred to the guys over at Planet Renders for basically everything I used here.
Fairly basic, but attractive. I'm not sure if you followed the tut step by step, but for next time I would try something a little more... wild & colourful.
