It's not often, but it happens enough to be addressed. You will not kill your chances at getting VIP by asking, we will just lock it and ignore it. Staff notice when another user helps someone, or provides to the site, we don't need you to remind us. You will ONLY get VIP AFTER IPB3 is installed, and you get to 2,500 or 3,000 REP, NO SOONER! Current VIP that lose status (indefinitely) and ask for it back, this will kill your chances at getting it back. Current VIP that lose status (temporarily) and ask for it back, you will either be ignored, or suspended. (Same for above). Stop asking Staff to make others VIP, you cannot get it until IPB3, and Subs can demote VIP's if they deem it necessary. They do not need to explain why/how you were demoted, you should know if it ever happens to you.
