    I think we should have a debate forum. It would be good for us to express our ideas and to work on debating with each other. However I would recommend if you guys make it to prevent spam by making a person at least making their post in the section at least three sentences long and no one letter sentences. You can also prevent flaming by allowing it as long as it DOESN'T offend one another. So yea I think this would be a good way to express ideas.

    That's the whole point. Debating requires flaming but not the kind to offend each other with.

    Like I said to Quinn. It requires flame but not the type to offend each other with. Since I'm on the debate team at my school I could help with the forum. I think this would really get some action going on the site.

    I totally agree with you. But if we mark rules that would help. I would actually try to give this a shot and if it doesn't work out then remove it.

    Debating doesn't garuntee flaming. I think its a great Idea, but if you are that worried about it, then we should have a sub-mod that takes care of that section. One who doesn't just delete posts if he THINKS that its flame. Most stuff is not actually flame.

    I have a good idea here:

    Add debate forum,
    no post count raise,
    flaming allowed (blow off steam forum).

    This way it's like the Off-Topic, but flaming, since you can debate on anything you want (expect porn).

    What do you think?

    this is actually a really good idea. sure there would be flamming but thats expected. there is flamming everywhere anyways. the no post count raise is a good thing it would discourage spamming. its all really great. i would like to see this happen
