Yeah, I tried this a long time ago with an earlier version of Ubuntu on a computer with 512MB ram. It froze when I started Ubuntu on the login screen. Everyone says it works and it really is safe. Nice share Smoky.

Yeah, TuneUp is a good way to boost computer performance. I would also suggest some PGWare Products that can fix errors in your computer, like PcMedKit. Just get the 30-day trial. Don't pirate their software though.

I actually hated Dead Rising 1, I'll rent Dead Rising 2 and see how it is..I just can't wait until my copy of Fallout 3 gets delivered though!

Meh, it was photoshoped, you can kinda see how he added a light ray effect so it looked like it blended with the tv.

Leave GoW 1 on standing completely still on Gridlock for about 2-5 hours. My brother accidently did that and I got it then.

Alright, why don't you try running CCleaner, and TuneUp Utilities (as khaos said). It actually kind of sounds more like a registry error.

Sounds like a virus, or some corrupt files probrably. Have you tried formatting?
