Hey guys there are quite a bit of people that dont fully understand some of the aspects of forge. Im not going to go into as much detail as Bungie did on invasion. If you want to learn that, go there. Safe zones.. This was tricky for me to figure out but I think I got it finally. So yeah this is how its done. Make you map in the middle and then make a giant safe zone around it. And around that make your kill zone. (or soft kill zone or whatever. I did it this way so its not too complicated.) As long as you are inside the safe zone, you wont be killed. But if you go outside the kill zone, nothing happens to you. So make sure there isnt a teleporter or a way to jump over the kill zone or it might break the game. You can also over lap your zones if you want to make an oval shape. It won't matter as long as you are inside a safe zone, you should be fine. You can also put random zones out in the middle of no where just to mess with people. lol. so really the above picture would look like this: I suggest making you death zones really tall (especially if you have Falcons on your map) so people wont be able to fly over the top. so yeah you get the idea about safe zones. Just make a bullseye looking shape. Thats all for now. Any suggestions?
dude my friends and I have tons of LAN parties and the most we have had at my house at once was 22. that was so much fun playing Halo 3 like a couple months after it came out. haha No. I want speakers. I want to be able to hear it outside my window. I want to be knocked off my feet when a grenade goes off and I want the neighbors to call the cops when a gun fires.
well do you go to work on sunday? neither does Bungie. lol Modding saves would have to be the best way to mod Reach. gametypes, forged maps, campaign saves etc.
http://images10.newegg.com/NeweggImage/productimage/82-115-239-01.jpg Hey guys Im thinking about upgrading my stereo set-up and I'd like some help. Im not very knowledgeable about speakers and stuff. I know how to hook them up but idk some of the details. Right now I have a Philips MCM530 stereo system that I got about 5 years ago for my birthday. lol. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I want to upgrade to 5.1 sound. Im thinking about getting a YAMAHA 5.1-Channel Reciever (any thoughts or suggestions on this before I buy it?) and a Yamaha 100w subwoofer (same on this?) Im also going to get a pair of SONY bookshelf speakers to complete the 5.1 sound. The questions I have is, would the speakers on my old Philips stereo be useful with this receiver or do they have different hertz or something? Any suggestions? Im trying to stay on a budget, so I can't go out and buy over $600 of equipment. So any input would be really nice. note: the receiver comes with an $80 promotional card if I buy it, so I could buy it and the speakers separately and save $80? thanks
Its a pain in the butt though, unplugging everything to get new PSU in there. Unless you buy the same brand, then you can just swap out most of the wires, but its still a hassle.
