Mappacks on 360 were never figured out, if I remember correctly. Just modifying the new maps that are stored on the HDD in a similar way that we did for the normal xbox.
So can a PC not be a mac? I thought PC meant Personal Computer. I think its better to say Mac VS Windows, unfortunately someone might have a build of linux. Either way, Windows (PC) all the way. I can't stand the childish limitations that are put on Macs. Your locked into their own version of the software with no ability to edit it.
Its been awhile since Halo 3 modding had started, but I thought now would be a good time to post all the Halo 3 usermaps I've collected. Simply download, and rehash and resign and drop back on to your console Heres a screenshot of them. The maps are located in Partition 3 > Content > Your Gamertag ID > 4D5307E6 > 000000001 Download: H3 Usermaps.rar
I sent out a bulk email yesterday, and it took 1439 minutes to send to everybody. Yet, it had lots of errors as it ran How many people actually got the email or not?

As of now these are the changes that have taken place. A footer ad appears everywhere only to Validating, Guests, Banned and BotsA topic view header and footer ad appears to Members, Member+, Validating, Guests, Banned and BotsAdBrite green highlighted words are only visible for Guests and Validating membersSidebar ad is still visible for everyone. (For some reason I click uninstall it throws error)A nice little message is stuck at bottom for Guests, urging them to register or loginGuests can view the public forum side, without permission to download attachment My intended plan is that more people will follow the links on Google, and then register since they cannot view images or download anything as a non-registered user.
How bout they cannot see uploaded anything, or the downloads tab and tutorials tab. So basically they can read text from the forums (not vip obviously), and then register to be able to.
As of now the skin CleanCut has been used to start testing these changes. You can switch to CleanCut via the Skin Chooser and see if the loading times are different.
Okay so to confirm. Your alright with guests being able to read all topics (not vip) just not able to download or reply?Members will receive a footer ad, and ad between 1st postGuests will receive header, footer, and ad between 1st post and Ad-Brite adsDonors, Staff, VIP receive no ads.All groups keep the ad in sidebar, since it does so well
The first one looks good to me. I can't really critique the others, because I don't know the terms or how to talk about GFX. I know the lockerz one is just text slapped on top of stock though.
My suggested idea Remove all ads for registered membersAdd more blatant ads (Header, Footer, In-between first post, Ad-Brite green underline) for Guests/ Un-registeredGuests can view entire site, just not download or PM, search etcOnce you log in ads disappear. Speeding load times for membersOther suggested idea Only Donors, Staff, VIP get ads removed.Members/Guests/ Non-Registered stick with those blatant ads Google Adsense in this economy just sucks , and an ad free site looks cooler.
