Start bar is on the right, vertically so it can list more windows without them looking cramped / being collapsed. It's also on pop out, to save screen space. No point in it always being there.

Been a while since I was last here, email prompted me to pop on before the possible flood of traffic..
Start bar is on the right, vertically so it can list more windows without them looking cramped / being collapsed. It's also on pop out, to save screen space. No point in it always being there.
