hello i need to open some ports for my router but the ports dont stay open is there anyway to make them stay open

I fyou have a firewall you also need to open it on the firewall.

There could be plenty of problems here many of which can only be tweaked. Your torrent program every time you re-open it, or just randomly at times changes ports. For no reason or some reason it does that, so you will always have to forward different ports quite frequently. Otherwise it could be your IP. Since your forward your ports to your ip (EX 192.168.2.12) and your internal IP changes after a DHCP renew then it could be 192.168.2.13 because the number of clients on your connection chancged, so you were dealt a different IP. Make sure you stay updated with what port the torrent program is using, and what your internal IP is. So you can continue to forward g
