Did you guys see the post on the video "YouMilfs (1 month ago) You are dumb this is RSA Encryted ..." i did not read all 3 pages of replys but i would just like to help you guys out a littel more because this sounds cool.

I know of at least 3 people that can mod gamertags. Actually, one, I was invited to a party w/ ShadowLag and the mystery gamertag modder. Then shadow went all ballistic cause I asked him a few questions about it... I think its cause I was asking the right questions and answering them myself.

And a keyvault is not needed...

If you noticed I said this when the NXE came out and there were not any KV's available.

Basically, dump the NAND, find the encryption method, and reverse it on the account block of the profile. Pretty complicated for the average person to do....

Things needed to Change your gamertag by Modding.

1.Dev Console
2.Down graded Kernal
3.Brain
4.Decrypted profile. i.e You have to know how to Decrypt the entire profile to find vital information.


Figure out the rest.

I believe it''s stored in your NAND Key, which you can use Infectus 2 Modchip to modify.

I'll break that down.

1) Wrong. You do not need a dev to do this. In fact, getting a dev is misleading because devs and retails have different Account keys.
2) Sure, you need it to dump some files

4) Profiles are not encrypted. The only thing encrypted is the Account block. I'll give you a hint, when you decrypt the block, you'll see your gamertag.

To addon to unknown's post. Only one person would need to dump the files.

I don't know how it exactly works, but I know an application can be made to open your profile, decrypt, and allow editing of your gamertag, and then write it, encrypt, voila.
