Alright so me and a few members have been talking and we deiced it would be a good idea to make the shoutbox unavailable to people with less then 50 posts.
I mean.... it get so old to try and use the shoutbox then some 10 year old fagot asks me if I have XSata or what ever its called...
Point is its killing the site....

And its killing me....

we are supposed to welcome new people. and if you put too many restrictions on new one's they cant get the help they need,
and i think c-box is the most informative piece of software on the site

ive helped more people learn everything about modding on cbox WAY more than in posts.

yeah 15-20 i think some people dont have that many but are fun to talk to and some have helped (like with some of there post/topics you know programs and what not)the site alot plus 50 post will mean SPAMERS and we all hate spamers mabey we give it to select people that dont have 50 post i think that would be better.

since this is so, we should remove all areas of Support on the site, seeing that everyone in here that says no is claiming:

1) Too many restrictions - no, you just cant use the shoutbox right off the bat, ***** doesnt even have one. (unless i havent quite found it yet.)
2) If the C-Box is the most informative thing there is, we dont need support sections, since everyone doesnt even use Tutorials or Support, they just ask us at the top.. instead of doing what the rest of us do, READ.

I tried, I couldn't remove the footer and copyright so thats not going to work.

I could do an IF then statement for 5 posts, that seems good. We'll vote on 1, 5, 10, or 20.

yes we did read, and most of the time if someone asks on cbox... most people just crucify them and say GO READ A TUT.

i dont know why, but a lot of people have big problems understanding how our site it set up... i don't see it, but a lot of people complain about it.

the cbox is for quick questions...
and mainly to catch up with old friends and to get other people's GTs for xbl.

don't remove the cbox... it keeps kids coming back...

i hate 7sins bc it doesn't have a cbox.... you never get to actually talk to any admins...
cbox is a great idea... and i would be sad to see it go.

don't delete it either. just dont crucify a person if they ask a question, that you would think would be so obvious...

there are people out there that truely dont know a thing about forumz and modding.

yes there are people who are a$$holes on the cbox.. and its annoying for people, but in the end if someone truely has a problem... don't be a dick to them.

hmmmm i think 5 would be to low if this idea really goes through

what i think is gonna happen if end up making this a reality is that spamming will go way up. because some lazy kids wont bother with looking for what they need. they will spam till they have the required amount if posts and then never post again becuse the cbox is available to them for questions.

all this idea will do is increase spamming and you will still end up with the same problem with less users because some will say screw it and go somewhere else were they can get help right off the bat.
