What if it gets leaked, and if this happens with your other mods, you will get banned.I think sharing mods virally in customs would be a good idea. Much better than fileshare sharing.
1. You don't get banned.
2. Since it's viral, only the better mods make it through the public filter. This will encourage better mods to be made.

Any modders banned? Yep.

Off-topic I just recently came across a rather discreet program a select few people may recall using in Halo 2. After looking at this program I found that it can be completely re-purposed to decrypt just about anything in realtime if used correctly. If I can apply this just right I may be able to find my consoles keypair...and if I find my console's keypair AND M$ keeps up the bannings I may just release my reasearch and let some of the more advanced modders on here take it from there.
I've already successfully used this to find a re-hash a modded con file, and that without a user-friendly "click here to re-hash" interface just gives me a good feeling like I really know what I'm doing for once and this may just work...But if what I hold in my hands is not enough for people to start resigning at least I've gained quite a bit of knowledge out of it that some people can use...

Unless you have a dump of your NAND and the CPU key of the Xbox that the NAND dump is from you CANNOT get any keys out of the key vault.Wait, by console banned do you mean his keypair, online features, or fully bricked? 'Cause if it's fully bricked I'm going to be very angry...

I REALLY want the CON resigner to be released, not only because I want cool things like flyable pelicans, but I would love to see Bungie utterly destroyed. If everyone could do ANYTHING it would show them how stupid it was for them to fix everything good about the game. For example, we used to be able to get in buildings and walk out of bounds, now Bungie decides to throw in those frickin' death barriers just to be little NoObs and ruin the fun. Then, people got so good at halo that it is impossible to beat them because they have no life. So some of us decide to hide after we gain the lead for laughs and some EXP. Bungie figures out that people are having fun again so they block up tons of spots with their stupid barriers making matchmaking dumb. I hope that the CON resigner can DESTROY matchmaking and do other cool stuff like change the voices of ur character wen they die to say something funny. I used to like halo a lot but now they only thing keeping me online is all the cool mods and forge. So hopefully Bungie backs down and go dies under some rock and let everyone do watever they want like modding without the fear of their BANHAMMER.

A CON signer would affect neither Matchmaking nor .Map modding in any way shape or form. the main threat of abuse of a con signer is it's potential to resign your profile, allowing you to change things like Gamerscore, and more importantly M$ points. If the resigner worked specifically for Halo, it would have been leaked ages ago.
With a Con signer, you wouldn't be able to get past death barriers or ruin Bungie.
Though I do agree with you that Bungie did everything in their power to completely ruin Halo 3 Matchmaking for anyone who wasn't already insanely good at the game. I tell you, if I ever get past my 33...I'm gonna be f*ckin' amazed. Halo 2 was and still is bottom-line the best XBL game I've ever played (mind you haven't gotten to play COD4 yet.)
