okay, seriously what modding should be for is for forge modding only.
and if you noticed the only mods that came out are for forge varients that have been changed.
in no way will this comprimise halo 3 MM.
i believe with mods for h3 will bring back all those people who were dissapointed with h3 (like me)
i beat campaign in about 4 hours on normal.
then went back and beat the last level on legendary to see the crappy secret ending.
and i quit playing.
call of duty has 10x more of a addicting multiplayer than h3 does.
but when i started seeing h3 mods. i stopped CoD4 alltogether.
i think bungie should recognize this.
and if they were smart they could come out with their own type of h3 modding software.
yes forge is a great thing, but it has so many limitations.
in no way is h3 modding comprimising the fact that ppl have to pay for xbl subscriptions or M$ points.
those are LIVE resigners. not .con resigners/hashers.
in no way can h3 modding be implemented into MM.
so people who are keeping the mods/resigners/hashers to themselves are only doing it bc they want to get popular.
anyone who gets on this site and shows that they can make mods is only doing it for the fame.
if they were truely only doing it for themselves they wouldn't have bothered getting on the site and showing off what they have.
right now h3 modding is a popularity contest... and its childish.
if you really want halo 3 modding to become as great as halo 2 modding was... release everything.
we should be collaborating on making mods... not keeping them to ourselves.

Sadly Bungie is payed to control modding. In halo2, they couldn't control it. Thats why the banhammer became stronger, but they aren't banning now because they can adapt and change it. Yet they don't get half there users come from modding groups.
