    so today i finally got my newly built computer working :D im very happeh so far

    Phenom II 820
    4gb ddr3
    gigabyte gtx460 1gb
    MSI 880GM-E43
    Corsair 650w

    EDIT: a big thank you to quinn who helped me when i could not get it working. THANX QUINN HAVE 2 COOKIES AND BACON

    I woulda gotten a bigger PSU. and at least a Phenom II 945 if you had the money. what case did you get?

    I got the antec 900. Yes a 945 would have been nice but i was on a legit budget so. and i can just overclock my 820. the 650w is perfect for me.

    nice case. But its always nice to have a bigger PSU in case you decide to upgrade some parts later. a 500w didnt work for me so I got a 750w.

    I can see where your coming from. I thought of that and decided. i Wont upgrade prob untill Bullodzer core. Then i will have shit load of money for comp :D

    Its a pain in the butt though, unplugging everything to get new PSU in there. Unless you buy the same brand, then you can just swap out most of the wires, but its still a hassle.

    LOG: First bsod -.- tried tog et windows score. maybe the gfx card was problem but the stress test went threw find. hmm

    Do a memtest. I had a suspicion that if the 460 wasn't the problem, the ram could be.

    ight. I did 35 mins mem test and got 0 error's. will run a 100% test 2morrow. i got games and shit to dl >.<.... from steam

    His motherboard most likely supports am3.

    it's a am3 mobo. a micro-atx borde but still decent. bios is a bit wierd :/ but i like it. no bsod's since the first 1

    I still want a 8 hour memtest, a 4 hour (minimum) Prime95, and a long (30 mins maybe) Furmark or Kombuster test.
