No they cost $50 atleast for a good one. Also your house receives around 1600 surges per day on a normal day lol, but then it must take a bigger surge of power to kill it?

do you know what a surge is? its when your lights dim and shit from the increased powerload, seeing how almost everywhere we are strained for power, thats pretty hard to get without lightning.

You would think that MS would be smart enough to at least put a Surge Protector in it somewhere, I can't wait to see them when they get a load of broken XBox 360's because of a power surge.

i got mine for £10 each and mine have lasted for like 5 years each... apparently i paid for quality... are your $50 ones made of gold?

seriously, how many times has my wii failed from a surge? 0.
how many time has my pc failed? 0(though i use a cheap surge protector for more outlets )
how many times do your other appliances and electronics fail due to surge? SURGES ALMOST NEVER HAPPEN. Only during lighting, in which case unplug the damn console :/
If you cant do that or use a 10$ surge protector then you fail at life.

thats true, but its cheap and usefull for more plugs, and since my pc has important data it can`t hurt.
