My dog had to get put down today . He was 14 years old, I don't know how old that is in "dog" years but the vet said he was lucky to get to 10.

He was in a bad state and the only other option was to put him on a drip with antibiotics and hope he survived the night.

He was a Siberian Husky named Ash.

yep most dogs only live to 10, anyway have any pics?

dood then most of the dogs that my aunt and uncle had died old two of them were 22 and another was 24.

On a happier note I'm getting a new dog soon,I'll post pics when I get him.

One of them is in bad shape, the other is alright. They are Irish Wolfhounds and they say you are lucky if they live 7 years (they are huge dogs, usually the smaller the dog, the longer the life expectancy)

i had to give away my dog a few weeks ago because I moved and the land-lady doesnt allow pets

It was between 69 and 72 dog-years.

That's pretty old for a dog. I'd say he had a pretty long and happy life
