My dog had to get put down today :( . He was 14 years old, I don't know how old that is in "dog" years but the vet said he was lucky to get to 10.

He was in a bad state and the only other option was to put him on a drip with antibiotics and hope he survived the night.

He was a Siberian Husky named Ash.

    :(

One of them is in bad shape, the other is alright. They are Irish Wolfhounds and they say you are lucky if they live 7 years (they are huge dogs, usually the smaller the dog, the longer the life expectancy)

    It was between 69 and 72 dog-years.

That's pretty old for a dog. I'd say he had a pretty long and happy life :)
