Guys this is a start of campaign modding on retails (publically using an application) so expect problems, and hence, deal with it, it'll be better sooner or later.

i could be wrong but this is something i heard awhile ago from a friend who had one of the first saves.

from what i know the mods wont work online when you play the save, you have to clear your cache and play them offline for them to work, just like for GOW2 modding the mods only show when the cache is cleared and your offline.

i cant test this myself as my xbox broke

I can confirm there is apparently some what of a mod in certain files. I have not tried the hunter one, or the shiny balls ones. However I did get the Brute one to work, and when the game started you were still master chief. However You are about 4 milesss waay outside of the map, there is smoke all around you. It seems just like a coordinate swap. It is on the ark and while out in the smoke stuff way outside of the map it appears that you are in the pelican seat still and get out etc. But once out you can't move, shoot. All you can do is turn around.

hey for all u people trying to do this i got it to work.Basically all it needs is a jump start!!!!!
so what u do is let the dulled out Grey continue button in the main menu load, and then press it.
Keep ur eye`s sharp though because this is were u have to pay attention, when u see the whole ring build itself
ur gonna hit B right before the screen goes black or when it goes black just don't wait to long because it will load the save with nothing on it or at least nothing modded.hope this helps some of u.

confirmed that this does convert form dev to retial, but there are some problems like as most of us have seen u could be outside the map, i think it just depends on what is modded

well im back and it seems i made a mistake on my last post i meant to say when u press B u will go back to the menu.once at the menu just continue normally this is just so level loads and restarting it will help the mods load better u don`t need to do this but it seems to help out.doing this increases the chances for it to load right however even by doing it this way i had to try several times before it worked sometimes u just get lucky and it will work on the first try just don't get frustrated keep trying and remember this is only the first step to modding. oh by the way i just got my 360 back from repairs and it doesn't seem to be working i will however try to get some video of 1 campaign save with with my friends pre rrod 360 which i will fix and use.hopefully he decides to sell and not blow it up like a fire ******* for the 4th of july.

i have also tried both the hunter one and the one with smoke etc. the hunter one didnt work, it was just a normal save at the beginning of the ark, while the smoke one did work, but im miles outside the map and cant move or anything. i spose that proves that it can work? would someone mind uploading a dev save which is simply a projectile swap of the first weapon you have, on any weapon. see if that works.
