You may have noticed 2 of our global staff members with a new coat of pink on them. They in fact have been upgraded to Sub Admin. As we move sites there are 2 huge things we are adding that should and will boost our popularity. With that we will need a new set of staff, and a new set of rules.

Smokiest Grunl and Dark Slipstream have both been upgraded to Sub Admin, with our lonely Fattwam.

2 other staff members have lost their position. Dice and d.hero. Dice mainly for being inactive, and d.hero for mainly the same reasons. Both of them however, still have a high spot on my list, if they show they can earn it back. We are now on the look out for 2 global moderators, please don't ask or PM me. I'm watching based on shoutbox attitude and post type (ex spam, good grammar etc) However, I still already have 2 picked out.

Also our "Retired Moderator" group is being rebuild. Gives the option of just locking topics back to "retired mods" not too much power, just in case they were compromised. I hope you enjoy the new staff.

Our non-admin staff (Legacy, Steven, Lax, DeathGrip) if they plan to stay and be active they will be part of the new IPB 3 staff. Otherwise they will be a "Retired Mod".

Agreed, i'm happy that Smoki and Slip got the job... There really is no one who could do it better.

Sorry for this, but I guarentee that some of the less active staff come back for these few weeks, just so they can keep their position.

Anyway, congratz to Smoki and Slip!

I remember when we got staff members every 1000 users back at old ibm, i wish the new members could understand how awesome the old site was, and how some of the older members of this site can never be forgoten.

Can't say i'm 100% happy with this update, but it makes me more happy than sad. lol.

You can keep me as a staff member in ipb 3, i imagine sometime in the spring or summer i will have to retire.

New staff members should be voted on by current staff members.

Well with DSS becoming a Mod you need to change the IBotMod_Bot's Sig part to pink DSS

I think that Dark Slipstream and Smokie were due for a promotion, and it has been my personal opinion that Ibotmodz has been long overdue for a couple mor Sub-Admins. Keep up that great work guys.

About time for Smokie, he really deserves it with all them great post. Congrats! to both of you guys. Looking to see this site progress more with this addition, hopefully the Global Mods will be good choices too.

Congrats to both of you, couldnt think of anybody who deserves it more. Im really looking forward to some of these changes in IPB3. Also, besides the color, whats the differance between Sub-Amin and Global Mod? ( power wise)
