    You can use use a ppf patch on any file, not just halo 2.

    Yes you can, but are there any PPF patches for Halo 3? I don't think there is. Unless I'm mistaken. And PPF sucks. Use serenity.

    what it does is save the differences usually between a modded map and a normal as a patch and makes it so where you can transfer .map mods easy

    Can someone please make a fairly simple tut, on how to make a patch for halo 3 .maps?

    I didn't know there was one, but you would take a clean halo 3 map, and the same map (except modded)

    You then would place the modded map in box 1
    Clean map on box 2
    Name the patch on box 3, then let it run. It takes all the differences between the 2 maps into a small filesize patch, which you then can re-patch to a clean map.
