Need help deciphering xbox 360 problems

My first xbox got red ring sent that to Microshit, havent got that back yet..

Yesterday my second 360 also got red ring this was a HDD problem though and I had to delete the corupted data off of my HDD.

Now the same xbox started freezing alot, which is what was happening the first time. So i checked for corupt data, nothing. Turned it off and back on and got error code E 71, which is a possible dashboard problem, so my thoughts turned to NXE.

Turned it off and back on again and got E 79 this time, which is HDD error. So I pulled out the HDD and tryed again... now I get no error code, just 1,3,4 red light.

To top this off my computer's internal HDD has packed it in (luckly most my information was saved to my external HDD, although I have still lost some stuff). I'm buying a new computer instead of replacing the HDD, because it was a pretty crap PC anyway.

So does anyone know what has happened to the xbox or will I have to send it to MicroShy this time?

If i were you, i'd just sent it in, then buy a cheap console on eBay until yours gets back.

Or buy an elite, they apparently 'break less' lol.

They only other ways I can think of fixing it, is using unconvetional methods which can be found by searching google etc.

No, buy Arcade. They break less. I bought one then moved my harddrive into it, and it hasn't RROD in 1 year when my other console RROD 4 times in one year.

For your problems, sounds like crappy parts, nothing you can do.
