It's my netbook. I can run Oblivion at 640 by 480 with Oldblivion and GameGain at around 2-6 fps, which is pretty good for a netbook.

I get 60fps with VSYNC on in Fallout 3, thats with NMC's texture pack (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12056)

whats the spec of your netbook and what actualy is it?

 

i had an advent 4211 (msi wind clone) and with the 1.0d firmware it enabled overclocking (i got it to 2.1ghz on an atom!) and i put an extra 1gb of ram in it and i ran a program called "GMA booster" that overclocks the intel GMA 950 graphics card (i assume u'll have it) up to 4x the performance. i played oblivion on my netbook at 34fps (on power, 20fps on battery)

 

if you want GMA booster i can loan u my serial to test it out with. i sold the netbook so i no longer use the program

Start bar is on the right, vertically so it can list more windows without them looking cramped / being collapsed. It's also on pop out, to save screen space. No point in it always being there.
