I created a Bungie.net topic about Halo 3 That I wish the mods to see. If you could reply. Don't mention modding, as we might get banned. Just reply and say good job. It took me an hour to write.

Heres the topic

First off, I am not an obsessed 10 year old or any kind of booster in anyway. My 360 has been in repair for its 4th time and is currently there. I've taken my open time now to write this whole message.

Halo 3

For most people the most highly anticipated game of the year. For me, it was. I believe everyone thought the game was perfect in their first 7 days playing. It was mostly everyone's first time playing so it took awhile to find bugs. Now 2 months later, the complains start. Our first comment after Halo 3 that was criticism was "I want new maps!!" Currently.. We know from updates that Bungie is adding 5 new maps. I believe Bungie hears OUR ideas and takes them into consideration. They heard "I want new maps" before any beat down, equipment glitching etc. Bungie will now be called, "They". They responded and took into development of 5 new maps, one of which they wanted to be a strict forge map. So for people saying, "Why were Halo 2 updates faster" Well.. I have a hypothesis. Back in the day of Halo 2, the Optimatch Forum was more popular than the Halo 2 forum. A more popular moderator for Bungie back then was Ninja on Fire (Jeremiah). He had a attitude to post to all important and productive topics. I'm not dissing any other mods, since they have more important stuff like working on Halo.

My first request is here. Could we have more mods? These days mods close and lock topics without replying why. I understand they are tired of reading the same topics, but come on. My second request is here. Why can we post so fast? Please make an auto spam protector. My topic makes the 2nd page in under 2 new topics, since the 10 sticked topics. Now let me talk about those. The custom game finder made by whoever is garbage. You need to add the game yourself, it isn't directly from xbox.com stats, or Bungie.net stats and no one adds them. I understand mods try to get messages across by stating the point in the subject like (EX-I Can has Recon!? NO!) We understand from the 100's of replys you made, but still people get banned. The more topics you sticky the faster other topics leave the page. Only have like 2 or 3 topics sticked. If you want the podcast questions sticked, forget about it. A real topic that needs to be stickied will stay on the top, due to replys to it, But for all those topics you stickied only 17 topics make the first page. Unlike most forums most of those topics are new and have no replys. (soon to be this one) Which relates back to my point of creating spam filter. About 2 days ago a member created 5 topics all about how to record videos on your computer from Halo 3. He bumped all of them, till he disappeared.

Back to Ninja on Fire....He was a mod for the new comers here. He posted alot in the Optimatch forum, he one day announced he was going on vacation (Hawaii I think) For 1 month around no updates to Halo 2 came and thats when the complaining of Halo 2 began. Evan Braum created a topic called "Rumble Hardcore" he actually used punctuation and bbcoded his points. Post like that catch moderators attention. Ninja was gone and everyone back then was posting about him. Then one day he posted and everyone was like "uber hax0r 1337 hes back" Sadly, he was just posting from Hawaii. Then he returned in under 1 week. The Rumble Hardcore topic had been stickied and the matchmaking update topic by Ninja was posted saying, "(finding topic) Then there was the respected user Lucky Sniper 07. He made over 15 topics of suggestions for matchmaking in perfect format. He was a respected user in my booklet. I honestly need mod approval to prove this, but I think Ninja was the one who kept the H2 Matchmaking list, in the Halo 2 project section updated. It started out over 200 lines long, but Ninja reduced to around 50, but putting the maps for the specified game type in the same table, allowing skimming to be easier. For any interested in Ninja on Fire, he still plays Halo 3 his profile is Here Another quick thing, why can't people hyper link their links. Nothing makes me more mad, then having to copy n paste a link to watch a montage video. Its quite simply how, its below us and it follows bbcode. Also wheres Shishka?

I learned a lot from Halo 2, but I took it all with me when I left.

It's a little early to be biting and clawing, I think you can express your concerns without being an ass about it. The MP guys are very intelligent, but they're also very careful... so you're going to have to be patient whether you like it or not. The only thing you can directly influence is if they want to listen to what you're saying, and the best way to prevent that is to come in guns blazing with insults.

Keep that in mind.

Ninja also made topics explaining H2 updates link below
November 2006 Halo 2 update It took 4 replies till Ninja replied back. What a good

Halo 3 in game

Halo 3 was built for the casual gamer and hardcore gamer, but favored towards the casual. Bungie expected hardcore gamers to learn how to use equipment and learn the maps, and the counter for all weapons. Sadly for the hardcore gamer he was being owned by new comers. As there were no BXR's or any combo killing became as it was suppose to be. Even. This doesn't allow a high K/D ratio. Bungie tried to connect to both populations but lost the hardcore gamers. A post reguarding MLG gametype was made and finally a mod countered. He said something around. We are not using MLG since they won't use Halo 3 to its potiental. The forge maps consist of frags and BR's and thats pretty much it. Once they involed equipement, more grenades, more weapons and possible vehicles we will accept it. I enjoy Halo 3 still to this day, since theres a different gameplan every time. Usually everyone rushes rockets on the old Zanzibar and etc. I now find myself every game on the Pit deciding between, rushing sniper, grabbing camo, getting rockets, or getting sword. I like that about a game. The beat downs at times are a little strange, but I still favour them.

Currently now Bungie is working on new maps, since that was our first complaint. After this I want to see a major playlist update. with those new maps. If gears of war updates can decrease the lancer by .002 percent that Bungie should be able to change what they want. I feel the magnetism for the beatdown is the only thing that aggravates me. I understand with hosts it could be closer than it appears, but nothing makes me as mad. When someone beats me down with an AR after hitting me twice, and power sliding across the ground to me. That makes me mad. I love how equipment and grenades travel through grav lifts and how fusion coils respawn. Props to that. As I play more and more I find it hard to get better and better. I find new routes for flag games, but otherwise my gameplay doesn't get better only my sniper skills. Adding a whole map editor into the game was a risky move. Thats tons of bugs to process and defeat, and you did a fantastic job. The new sniper, thank you, prevents 24 7 players from killing my whole team in 4 shots, but now allows me to shoot once and have the bullet bounce around and get a triple. I don't find the maulers a problem. If you know a guy is camping in the snowbound room, then simply don't go in there. There was a problem involving oddball though as you had to get the oddball and people in Lone Wolves would kill you and not ball guy. I once put the bubble shield next to the shield door on snowbound and people who enter throw grenades and they would walk into the gap between bubble and shield door. I camped and killed over 20 people with just oddball, and one without anyone else scoring. Thats why the play list update removed it. Bungie does known what is going on and they DO change it.

Finally my last point in Halo 3 is custom games. I love all the settings! If only Ninja was here, maybe the play list Carnage would be put in with Zombies and all those fun custom games. I'm wondering typing this, if this thread will die or live. And if it lives and gets popular and gets mods attention. This is for you Ninja on Fire as you made my Halo 2 expierence wonderful. You were the reason I bought Halo 3 and stayed attached to the series. This thread mainly was pointed towards Ninja since thats were the problem started. Its like a simply science question. Why do pines in YellowStone die? Because the wolves 50 years ago were killed, not because of pollution (even though that takes a toll) it all starts with something. If you relate that to Halo 3, that community wouldn't spam and complain as much if Ninja was here, since he replied to topics, told people what he did wrong etc. Thats the reason I'm 100% sure. Its not because the game is flawed, since Halo 2 was too, its because we don't have someone to control it, like Ninja. The optimatch forum was always more popular than the Halo 2 forum, why did we move out of it. Topics move pretty slow on that forum. I'll donate 50 bucks Ninja to you coming back. I'm serious. If it comes open up a paypal donate thing, and I'll donate.

Summary so you don't have to read

-Bring old Moderator, Ninja on Fire back. As he was the wolves in the answer to why Yellowstone pines are dying.

-1 topic per 2 hours spam protector

-Unsticky all but 2 of those topics

Not many since the issue is not within Halo 3 but within the site that controls Halo 3. I believe honestly that the issue lies in the moderators and site status. Look all over nature, the error isn't the animal, but the things before the animal that caused it.

Peaches

//for you Ninja on Fire

//and you for Lucky Sniper 07 (I looked up to you)
