SmokiestGrunl Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) csrss.exe registry error Ok so I have been meaning to post this for a while just never got around to doing it. I know this is going to involve registry editing so I don't what to do that before consulting some others. Anyway the error that pops up is as follows: It pops up on load up, once I have clicked ok it doesn't come back. The registry entry that caused this problem was. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "Shell"="explorer.exe" After following that path I have found the entry, but I am not sure if its safe to delete? Here is screen shot. Edited October 28, 2008 by SmokiestGrunl

Random1225 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I get one about some missing file 0x06145 evertime I turn on my computer but my computer works fine and unless it bothers you, you don't need to do anything.
SmokiestGrunl Posted October 29, 2008 Author Report Posted October 29, 2008 I'm just going to create a reg backup and delete it.
