Strange Halo 3 Glitch

I know if you take a energy drain, jump over an invis. Hold the RB then you drop the energy drain and have invis as a power up. Except listen to this.

 

It was neutral assault on Rats Nest. I had no power up and a sniper and drop down to pick up the invis. I picked it up and the second I picked it up got naded. It didn't kill me, but the invis didn't work. I wasn't thinking at that moment. 3 minutes later I get run over on one of my turns, and out pops that invis I had. Then it started respawning in THAT spot for the remainder of the game. It was strange.

So the invisibility fell outta you on the spot that you died?

ive seen lots of videos of this happening.

 

ive also seen it done with overshield too.

 

o and extra nade.

 

 

for some reason with big lag, you can almost pick up anything as equipment.

 

i had a video of me throwing an unactive tripmine a while back but i deleted it

oh i just played back a film today and a guy was runnig around with no gun and the he pop up in a banshi

Ive had lag where my friends have run around with no guns for the whole game, people have died and dropped an OS, and one on valhalla where the 2 warthogs spawned where the lazer did.

Thats how to pick up overshields an active camo's.
