Those are SMDs not LEDs and you can only put 4 If you want to put in leds you would have to get a clear controller case so you can see them, im sure you can find a tutorial someware, look on llamma.com or xboxscene

If the xbox 360 usb port is a USB 2.0 (not sure if it is), then it can supply 5volts (thats if MS hasn't put some sort of cap on it).So to work out how many LEDs you can put on it you need to found out how many volts the unmodded controller takes take that from 5volts. Then divide that by how much a single LED uses (not sure how much). Then bam thats how many you can put on it.

boomerisizzle Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 actually i was not going with the clear case im drilling in and hot gluing in some rumble led s and color cordinating the buttons so how would i go about finding the voltage that the controller uses
