I am making a modded disk for headlong. This is what i put on the disk. and im modding the original xbox

Halo 2(Folder)> inside folder is Halo 2.iso file, Bink(folder),Media(folder),dashupdate.xbe,default.xbe,update.xbe,downloader.xbe,

Maps(folder).>Inside Bink is 3 files. >inside Media is 5 files. inside maps folder is fonts, shared.map,mainmenu.map and Headlong.

I modded headlong.map and resigned it. I hotswap it, i dont hear it spinning but i know its spinning. i know its spinning because i load coagulation(which isnt on the disk) and it said i failed to load the map, so the xbox is detecting the disk. I go to headlong map. works fine and i load the game, when the game loads there are no mods on it.

This is how i made the iso file. i opened quix, create iso, local folder Halo 2, save on desktop. then i put it into the halo 2 folder in the disk. what did i do wrong? and dont insult me if i am way off to making this, this is my second day trying and im completly ignoring the tuts that includes taking part of ur comp drive apart and that are 2 pages long. I am using a dvd+r disk. 16x 4.7GB 2hr

Whoa whoa .

Totally wrong.

Ill say it in a nutshell cause I have little time.

You never put raw files on a disc since the xbox doesn't know how to read that.

You will need

Quix

DVD Decrpyter

and a DVD Drive

and a DVD Dual Layer 8.5 disc

You need to set up the format of the files in the orginal way you FTP to them (EX, maps folder, media folder, bink folder) then you use QUIX to compress that into a .iso. Then you patch the security sector on that ISO and burn it using DVD Decrypter then you burn to DVD DL disc using DVD drive and that should work.

EDIT: You did you quix my bad :(

Just don't use Halo 2 folder just burn that folder raw without the root Halo 2, then that should work. I'll teach security sector patching.
