Ok i wanna mod on my 360 i tryed reading tuts like smokies modding on 360 but am still so confused when i download the files from h2 modz atm i have havok.rar by peaches what do i do with it how do i know what to resign it with because of this sppf thingy and transfering to ands from my will it replace my real halo 2 maps ? so i will only have the modded map ? can you still skin and stuff if ure on 360 and how would you be able to get like a lambo in halo 2/? OR design my own weapon?

I have havok.rar by peaches what do i do with it?

You need WinRar, download a trial. Inside there should be a patch file (sppf, serenity, ppf)

 

How do I know what to resign it with?

Doesn't matter what the patch was, you just need to resign it with any resigner (CMR2, etc.)

 

Transferring to and from my xbox will it replace my real halo 2 maps?

If you transfer the maps from your Xbox to your computer no. If you transfer from your computer to your xbox it will replace the map on your xbox. That's why you make backup copies of your maps.

 

1. Make a folder called Halo 2

2. Make a folder called Unmodded maps

3. Put all the Halo 2 maps in there

Then make a copy of the map when ever you want to apply a patch. Just make sure you don't apply the patch to the unmodded map.

 

 

Can you still skin and stuff if your using a 360?

The only mod restriction will be that you wont be able to have AI

 

How would you be able to get like a Lambo in halo 2 or design my own weapon?

Its something that is pretty advanced and i doubt you'll be able to do it yet, but here is a tutorial on modeling.
