miinaturvat Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I'm gonna be making a gametype creator for the PC that will allow people to create a gametype on the PC. It will do what the Halo 3 creator does, but more For this, I need complete whitepapers for each gametype. So far, I have every possible editable value neatly mapped out for each gametype, but I only have the enums and offsets for about half the slayer gametype. I don't really have enough free time to complete these whitepapers, so if everyone could contribute, they would be completed quite quickly. Download what I have done so far, and submit any extra enums and offsets, and I'll update the one's for download every now and again Linky: http://www.sendspace.com/file/x6virx With everyone's help, this will be done in no time
ILIKETURTLES♥ Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) REMOVED. Please don't link to other sites. Edited August 29, 2008 by SmokiestGrunl
miinaturvat Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 I completely forgot about that post! Thanks I'd rather try and complete the slayer gametype before continuing with CTF, though...
unknown v2 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Haha, I told you there was a shitload of stuff for gametypes. Good luck with this. Looks like it's coming along nicely though.
iBotModzLolz Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Very Helpful and truley pointless to me
SmokiestGrunl Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Sorry, I can't really help. Halo 3 just bores me.
yungbol Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 If only I knew how you guys find this stuff I would help. Like for instance, how do you know that 0x??? is primary weapon and so on. (I just cant think of the right number right now).
Repoman 108 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) wat you would do is you would make 2 separate gametypes. and dont change anything on the files. then you would swap the thing you want to find where the offset is on one of the files. and then you put it on your computer, scroll down to the _blf part and see if you can find the difference. wherever the different hex value is is where the offset it. ps to the guy who started the thread. im going to start making a gametype editor which lets you create gametypes on the com, edit old ones, convert to different gametypes, and make it forge playable. are you sure your whitepapers are correct? ive been using Easy Bs whitepapers to start me off. and your "weapons on map" conflicts with his offset.
