9 Volt Battery = 9 Volts (duh)

Nail in the wall socket (USA) = 120 Volts

Xbox PCU = 300 volts (around there)

Stun Gun = 50,000 and upwards

Now I have been shocked by my (open) xbox PCU and I had to go to hospital, stay there for a while, burn the s*** out of my finger. This happened 5 months ago and my finger is still saw (nerve damage and s***).

It would be pretty hard to get an electric shock from hot swapping though. This is because the PCU is underneath the hdd and is pretty covered up. Once you have the top off the disk drive put it back inside the xbox and there is a pretty slim chance you will get shocked. Just don't touch the inside of the xbox while it is on. Only touch the disk and if need be the plastic disk holder.
