Korupt Data Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 The best thing would be to send it in >.> lol just face the fact u cant fix it yourself with out voiding your warranty
LXV Grizzly Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 It might help if you bought one of those extra fan things. But I would just send it in, no need to spend extra of your money.
ILIKETURTLES♥ Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Its probley really dusty inside, my tray wouldent open eather so i opened up the case and it was really dusty, i just blew all the dust out and it works fine now. If you dont want to void the warrenty just send it into microsoft.
iKhaosmaster Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 well i tried the fan and dusting it out and it didnt work
xValidToasterx♥ Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 My friend had the SAME exact problem, he opened it up and there was a ton of dust on the fan and everything he got rid of it all and it works fine now.
LiLBeZeRk Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Is your Xbox somewhere where it can absorb heat pretty easily? If so you need to prop it on something that doesn't absorb heat (The Xbox 360 box it came in when you first bought it, or a little table) If not send it in and when you get it back whatever you do, DO NOT BUY those extra fans that just snap on the back because they CAN void your warranty if you take them off wrong.
