xXkiller1Xx Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 First i want to point out that this tut was written all by me Xx Anarchy xX and u can use it on other sites if u give me creditOK this is a tut on how to burn halo 2 to ur HardDrive(HD)things u need before we start1.Flash FXP get it from google2.an xbox3.ur xbox connected to ur router with an ethernet cable4.ur router connected to ur computer5.pateince6.a small amount of knowledge on FTPing and flash FXPLets Begin bring up ur modded dash and put halo 2 in make it so that the disc doesnt auto start up make a folder on ur comp called Halo 2 u should now have halo 2 disc in ur xbox and still be on ur modded dash open up flash FXP and connect to ur xbox once connected look in the D folder u should see three folders bink, maps and media and some other files FTP the ENTIRE maps folder into the folder called Halo 2 on ur comp this will take a while dont worry then look for the file called default.xbe and FTP the over into Halo 2 then FTP over the media folder WE DONT NEED THE BINK FOLDER OK next make a clean maps folder on ur comp and put a copy of all this stuff in there then go back to where it has E folder D folder and all that stuff clik on the E folder and make a new folder called Games in the E folder then FTP the ENTIRE Halo 2 folder into the recently made Games folder 6 This will take a long time so go watch a movie or something 7 Once its done congradulations u have burned Halo 2 to ur HD 8 now whenever u mod old maps FTP the patched maps into the E//games/halo 2/maps folder and overwrite the clean map there 9 now to play the old map modz boot up ur modded dash WITHOUT halo 2 in 0 go to games and clik on halo 2 in ur modded dash 1 PLAY UR NEW OLD MAP MODZNOTE* you cannot go on live with old maps modz without hotswapping first. the failsafe in the modded dashboard does not let u sign on to XBLhope this help any1 wanting to mod old mapsIF ANY1 HAS QUESTIONS OR HAS SOMETHING THAT BE SHOULD ADDED DONT BE AFRAID TO POST IT HERE AND I WILL ADDRESS UR CONCERN
