I don't know how to do that. Unless you had a macro-ed button to automatically do that. Modding wise, you can only change the affect of the alternate trigger to something different. I've never seen a mod have 3 burst and 6 burst. If they did, they probably had a modded controller.

You linked me to a tutorial I just said. You can change the 2nd trigger to an alternate thing (like a grenade) but you cannot set it to burst 6 instead of 3. Unless you copied the whole tag, duplicated it in Insolence, changed its meta tags to create a whole new weapon which was 6 burst and linked the grenade to that, which is still impossible because you cannot throw a weapon that shoots.

 

If you posted that se7ensis provided you with a tut, it was a tut that you didn't want. I provided you with an answer its not possible. You would need to make both new weapons like I talked about above ^^ to be dual-wield. Then you could pick both up and left trigger would be 6 burst and right trigger would be 3 burst. You wouldn't like having the weapon there though because it clogs the screen. You could make the weapon invisible and make the weapon 3rd view and powerup. Then in theory, you pick it up and gain 6 burst ability out of an alternate weapon thats invisible. So then you would move the HUD and proj exit to something near the original BR proj exit to match it. It would take awhile though. That tut will only show you how to add a grenade launcher which is what you DIDN'T want. Its a good base to learn what your doing though.
