Studio 11 pinaacle

hey guys Im having a little probmle with my Studio 11 capture card from pinnacle. the thing is i used a windows XP and it worked fine now i have Vista and when i go into movie maker an error pops up saying

 

"Import video could not find a compatable digital video device. verfy that the video captruring device is properley instaled and hocked up right"

 

So is it my operating systme thats mesed up or not need help big time i dont want my $150 CC to not work anymore or thigns will go flying

Go here and download the drivers that you need. Please tell me if it works, so I can either offer more support or mark this as solved and close it.

it looks like i might have it but i dont know witch one to click i dont see a right libnk ofr m caoture card

1. Uninstall Studio

2. Re-install from the CD, and the bonus disc.

3. Then install and run patch Studio11_1_2_5231b which is for Vista 32-bit. (The bonus disc has to be installed before the patch.)

 

The patch can be found here. All should now work .

What ever disk you are missing try and find a torrent for it. I'll help more in the morning I gtg now.

i have it too and getting those drivers and patches are required for vista its a huge hassle

see if you are running vist 64 bit because it does not work for that
