Dark Slipstream Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I started to mod because I joined MFone trying to Team Doubles Boost, only to learn about "Halo 3 Modding". I decided to get in on it, I became a leecher, constantly looking around for mods to get to show my friends (fun right?). I later changed my name and joined KSI, i became active on 7 different forums, still looking for more modded maps, but contributing "some ideas", and help. I became more and more interest in iBotModz and XBOXTampers because of how many people were active, and after about a week, I stayed with iBotModz. I quit KSI, and changed my name to Dark Slipstream, i really started to mod now. I created many test mods, became extremely active on these forums, but there was always the odd phaggot to ruin it for those people like MFone, Myself and others included (TheEazyB, PimpinTyler, HyperStorm). It didn't bother me at the time, but it was becoming a hasty battle between everyone, always fighting to get what they want, or just to get a CON Resigner. I honestly don't give a sh1t who has a signer, good for you, that doesn't mean sh1t. I created a Halo 3 AIO Modz program that someone else may continue on with, because i have gone as far as I can, unless asking for help the rest of the way. I am not joining XBOXTampers, and I will be quitting Halo 3 Modding at the end of this summer. I removed almost all of my maps, and the maps posted on iBotModz will stay, unless Bungie removes them, then someone else can fix that. I will finish Halo WarsÃâä II, but no guarantees on any other maps, I'll help people create forge variants or w/e, but other than that, you don't need to credit me or anything, because that doesn't matter... no one credits me anyway (3 maps total so far). *****************************************************************************************************************************************Most people either have NO RESPECT for others, are LEECHERS, LEAKERS, NOOBS, or just A'SSHOLES. This applies to the majority of the modding community. Knowing that most people do not bother to look at who cares and who doesn't. I have gotten -19 rep, with NO REASON what so ever, so clearly no one cares.***************************************************************************************************************************************** OceaniaÃâä will remain unreleased, until MFone decides to release it, . Don't bother him to get it, he will probably just block you. I am still going to play Halo 3, but more matchmaking... I might make a new account, and take those good friends with me. I have a life to get on with (other than most people here), a Girlfriend, Family, Friends, and a Brand New Grade 12 Year. I am selling PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360 *, all but Xbox 360 + Some games, to play on. This will improve my grades, and take more attention away from it. I will not leak anyone's maps, programs or anything you guys have given me, I'll simply delete them, I am not an a'sshole. If anyone wants to hit me up to play Team Doubles, Customs or anything along those lines go right ahead, mention anything about modding I'll remove you and boot you. Hope you guys actually read this, because it is about the only/last post I am going to make. Have a great summer, I know I will.

By then halo 3 will be dry, and most likely there will be no more new good ideas for maps. I mean we have a lot of limitations with modding forge variants... The only way it will last until then is if some thing new happens, like modding some thing else besides forge variants.
