Connection Problems

I have an ethernet cable on my laptop connecting it to my xbox 360. However, when I try to get the media center connection to allow the xbox, I get this wierd error message saying you IP is invalid. Am I doing something wrong?

Your going to need a hub. The purpose of a hub is to give each device attached a different ip so that they can connect with one another. By the way wrong section.

You have to create a network bridge to get xbox live and media center both to work. Try googling it, its what I do with my laptop. If you can't find a tutorial how to do it after some searches I'll try to look for you.

Or buy a cross-over cable to allow you to play Xbox live while connected to your computer.
