How to mod old maps! - By lostmodz

Ok you'll need the map converter to mod old maps.

 

Just to let you know, its really simple.

 

step 1. Download the map convertor in the halo 2 modding programs

 

step 2. Open it up

 

step 3. Open up the old map that you want to mod

 

step 4. Now below that, or above that open up the map that you want to convert into

 

step 5. Hit convert

 

Now that might seem a little complicated. Really its quite simple. Since you can't mod old maps, you know FTP them then you have to convert it into a new map. So when you convert the old map into a new map, you can play old map modz. Really just play the new map that you converted your old map into. So when you play it, your modding an old map. Also WHEN YOU FTP, you FTP the converted map. Really your just changing the map titles.
